DeleteGood point. I considered that but I've been organizing the booklets by the language the book is using not the content of the book. Some books have patterns from several countries.

i find the original much easier to see the design in.
the reproduction is using too dark a shade of red.
I have other Ukrainian books which I would be willing to share
In any case, Ukrainian and Russian embroidery is quite different.

Hi, I am from Ukraine and its really great to know that someone is interested in our embroidery patterns. This magazine/book was published in Lviv (Львів), by publishing house "Rusalka" (mermaid)- Видавництво " Русалка" in 1930. and the name of this book is "Folk Embroidery" - Народні Вишивки. And if you like i can share few books with old Ukrainian patterns.

Hi Ramzi! I don't know how I could have missed this booklet, considering that you posted it over two years ago. But I didn't land on your page today through my Blogger dashboard, even though I've had it bookmarked for years. I was doing a search on Ukrainian cross stitch, and found so many wonderful patterns on Pinterest that I decided to join. One of the "pins" I checked out linked to your blog, and that's how I got here.
