I found this wonderful Russian site: РУЧНАЯ ВЫШИВКА - HAND EMBROIDERY. The site has many charted designs for free. Tatyana was sweet enough to give me permission to post them here. I personally own several Russian and Ukrainian Rushnik and treasure each and every one.

ReplyDeleteI belong to The Sampler Life Yahoo group, and I just found your blog through a link someone posted to the group. It could almost have been custom-made for me, because I also love traditional Russian and Ukrainian designs and have charted many of them from photographs. And I also own a Rushnyk, which I bought on eBay direct from Ukraine two years ago. I use PC Stitch, and I'd be happy to photograph and chart it for you.
